In this course we take a much closer look at the key actions, shapes and benefits of the fundamental poses that are practiced most often. Creating a new pattern of practice and shifting unconscious tendencies is the main intention of this series, which allows progress and helps avoid injury. Each week in class we will refine a sequence of asanas that are the substructure for the intermediate and advanced poses. You will also be given sequences to practice at home. You will progressively build strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance as you become consistent in the profoundly healthy habit of yoga.
